ENCIPHERING-SIGNS

10 paintings of relatively big size, 160x290 cm, oil, canvas, painted during 2003.

The canvases are not stretched on the frames like it is done traditionally, but they are placed on the panels at this particular exhibition.

The development of the concept Time element in the painting is used in the ad-hoc conditions in comparison with the earlier projects.

Enciphering, all the less deciphering of the graphic event of the painting presents exploration of the primordial concerns of the active creators in configuration of modern avant-garde arts.

This important aspect is in the focus of concerns of the artist in the new series of works offered to your attention.

Argument

Enciphering of the content of the painting presupposes that the presented object affects on the onlooker the same like the nature elements affect that make the direct effect without resorting to explanations or associations.

The content that can be traced in the series Enciphering - Signs relates to an idea but not to a state of reality. This idea attests a formula: the artist who meditates the reality.

In the fine arts, the associations with nature, with the objective world, are in fact those misleading. The content of a work of modern art is accepted with difficulty if it does not present immediate and concrete associations with the data of the cognizable life.
The project Enciphering - Signs represents a succession of an event on the canvas surface that is in fact a segment from the entire.

This event is seized and transposed in the graphic form, resulting from the sensation of an innermost state of the author.

The changing strips and backgrounds present on the canvas surface an significant unfolding and it invokes the notion of Time.
